Baseline Assessment
This process involves conducting a full and individual initial evaluation of the child, to determine the milestones achieved by the child, and to identify weak links in the foundational knowledge and concepts. It is an important beginning point for assessment, therapy and special needs support if required.
Parents who are troubled by noticeable signs of growth and developmental delay of their children can receive consultation in order to receive clarity and the next steps to take. It is in view of this that we offer baseline assessment, as a means to determine cognitive, intellectual, psychomotor skills and developmental milestone of children with signs of disabilities. This is the first stage in ensuring early intervention and access to therapy for children with special needs, so as to let them live a quality life and be included in the society.
We provide both online and on-site consultation and assessment services for a maximum of 2 hours per session.
A diagnostic test will be conducted on a child with signs of disability to determine the nature of disability the child has and its classification. Proper diagnosis is required to ensure proper management of disabilities
These are a set of functional skills or age-specific tasks that most children can do at a certain age range. These milestones such as physical, social, emotional and cognitive will be assessed and used to decipher the rate of the child’s development and steps to take if not developing proper milestone at the right time.
At TheraConnect, we provide sessions in physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, behavioral therapy and sessions with sign language interpreter, psychologist, special needs educator for children living with Disabilities in need of therapy.
We provide school support services in terms of facilitation, and therapy for children struggling and in need of additional support in the classroom/school activities.
Consultation

It is an important beginning point for planning, remediation and special education if required.
We provide the necessary knowledge, tools and support to parents of children living with Disabilities especially Autism Spectrum Disorder. Through our guidance, parents are more fully equipped in understanding how to properly care and support their children with special needs.
This consultation session entails assessing the child and providing clarification to parents on their thoughts and questions regarding their child’s behavior.
We connect parents of children living with disabilities to special needs or mainstream schools that would suite the needs of their child.
